YOUR

QUESTIONS

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I am based on the border of Essex and London so for me these are my stomping grounds! I am happy to travel across London and adore being in the big city. One of my loves is the beautiful Essex countryside and have completed shoots across Essex in spectacular locations. On top of this I am happy to travel for what I love so even if your big day isn’t particularly ‘local’ get in touch and I’m sure I’ll see what I can do.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Head over to my contact page and fill in an enquiry form or if you would prefer give me a call on the number listed. I can discuss your big day and check my availability. I am currently taking bookings for 2020.

HOW DO I BOOK A FAMILY SHOOT?

Head to the contact page and fill in an enquiry form or feel free to give me a call on the number listed. I can then discuss my availability with you. I am taking bookings for family shoots for Autumn 2019 onwards.

SHOULD I BOOK AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?

An engagement shoot is a great opportunity to spend a few hours together perfecting those poses for the big day. For most of us, your wedding may be one of the first times you’ve ever had a photographer work with you and it can be a little daunting especially for the camera shy. An engagement shoot is a great way to get used to the camera and you can see my style of working. We will go somewhere local to you and spend a few hours having a giggle and getting some great shots. All shots will be edited by myself. For more details feel free to fill in an enquiry form or give me a call so we can discuss your ideas in more detail.

SHOULD I BOOK A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

A second shooter is another like-minded photographer who will be an extra pair of eyes on the day. When I’m with the bride shooting her getting ready- the second shooter can be with the groom and groomsmen. When I’m at the front of the ceremony you- they can be at the back getting extra great shots. A second shooter is totally your decision but be assured they will always be someone I know and trust and will be as invisible on your big day as you want them to be!

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?

I would describe my style as being fine art wedding photography. This may sound pretty confusing but think of beautifully shot, light, dreamy images with a hint of styling. In a previous life I worked as an Art teacher so my ‘art eye’ tends to be working overtime trying to capture beautiful, classic and timeless shots. I’m a relaxed photographer and love capturing emotions and special moments from the getting ready to the final dance.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?

You can book as far in advance as you need to, most weddings tend to be a 6 months to a year (or even a few years) in advance. For family shoots it may just be a few weeks or months. Head over to the contact page to make an enquiry and I can see what I can do. At present I am taking wedding bookings for 2020 and family bookings from October 2019.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE BIG DAY?

Your photographs will be edited meticulously by myself (even if you have had a second shooter- all images are edited by me) I will then send you digital files within 6-8 weeks of the event. The number depends on a wedding or family shoot so all of these details will be discussed with you when you enquire. I am happy to arrange albums, frames and thank you cards so please ask about these during our chats.
